The Fairfield-Suisun City Visual Arts Association
The Fairfield-Suisun Visal Arts Association has been in operation for 56 years.
The First Annual Suisun City Children’s Art Fair is sponsored by the Suisun City Mayor Pro Tem Wanda Williams with assistance from the Fairfield-Suisun City Visual Arts Association The event is organized by Wanda Williams; Lawler House Gallery Director, JoRené Danel; and FSVAA Board Member. Cherol Ockrassa. The original plan, when JoRené Danel collected the artwork from the schools was to display the artwork in the Lawler House Gallery for a two-week show. An Open House/Reception was planned for all local families, students and art-lovers. However, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and school closures, the Art Fair is changed to a virtual show. Wanda Williams arranged for all the artwork to be professionally photographed, and a website was created specifically for the virtual show. JoRene’ Danel and Cherol Ockrassa were honored to be a part of the Suisun City Children’s Art Fair and as artists themselves, they will be responsible for awarding the People's Choice Award to the selected artist.
